Second lady Jill Biden was spotted at the Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show at the Washington Convention Center during the weekend. A Yeas & Nays source tells us she dropped in with Food Network star Paula Deen to a private lunch for 300 military spouses on Saturday. On Sunday, she returned to the show to visit another celebrity chef, Rachael Ray. After Ray’s morning performance, we’re told Biden bought some 800-to-1,200-thread-count sheets for $30 from one of the exhibitors.
Spotted on Saturday: Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson having brunch with his wife Allison Bridges and their baby girl, Cheyenne Genevieve at Peacock Cafe in Georgetown on Saturday. No word on what they ate.
Also, on Thursday evening, a Yeas & Nays spy spotted former President George W. Bush at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
