Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee announced Monday night that he was suspending his presidential campaign.
Huckabee tweeted out the news at 10:30 EST as the Iowa caucuses drew to a close. He had 1.8 percent of support from Iowa’s precincts.
Huckabee had ranked 11th in the final Washington Examiner power rankings before the votes.

The governor was the winner of the Republican Iowa caucuses in 2008, Sen. John McCain later beat him out on Super Tuesday.
