After several years of courting Sarah Palin to come to CPAC, the former vice presidential candidate and Alaska governor has finally said yes. (In year’s past she’s always regrettably had to pass due to her schedule). Palin will appear at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference as the closing speaker, considered one of the conference’s most prominent speaking slots. Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Rep. Allen West, R-Fla., have all been given this honor at previous CPACs. In addition to Palin, a broad swath of prominent conservatives will be attending the three-day event, to be held Feb. 9 to 11 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington. So far speakers lined up include GOP hopefuls Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich, conservative author Ann Coulter, Sens. Jim DeMint and Marco Rubio, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Reps. Jim Jordan, Steve King, Paul Ryan. Rep. West will also be returning.
