Nugent, Bush and Osbourne congratulate Cap Club

Hey, they must be doing something right.

The Capital Club — D.C.’s premiere men’s social group (or just an overgrown fraternity) — got a big high-five from Ozzy Osbourne, Ted Nugent and Billy Bush, a former Capital Club member, on Saturday night at its 30th-anniversary party.

Former and current club members celebrated the evolution of the club’s social events from two kegs at the Crystal City Sheraton to a thousand people at the French Embassy, our spy said. The club’s maturing social sophistication supports a real mission: pursuing legs and cocktails.

The bad boys didn’t make in-person appearances at the closed-to-press event, but sent video congratulations.

In an interview with Bush, Osbourne hailed the group for its growth, and then mumbled something about conquering women, our spy reported.

In a hunting video with former Capital Club and National Rifle Association lobbyist Chris Cox, Nugent, dressed in orange with a shotgun over his shoulder, applauded the men for getting the finest women in D.C. at their parties.

The group, known for being politically irreverent, is made up mostly of Republicans.
