What do Gen. David Petraeus and comedian Kathy Griffin have in common?
They’re both in Washington this week to talk about “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”
So what’s Petraeus’ deal? He said Tuesday “the time had come” to rethink the military’s ban on openly gay men and women serving, his first public acknowledgment of this sort.
Griffin has talked up the issue around town since Tuesday, but will be the most vocal Thursday when she leads a Repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” rally at noon at Freedom Plaza.
