UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor didn’t mince words when asked how he felt about Donald Trump’s unkind words toward Ronda Rousey after she lost her women’s bantamweight title to Holly Holm.
“It means nothing so, Donald can shut his big fat mouth,” McGregor told TMZ. “I don’t give a f— about Donald Trump.”
After Holm knocked out Rousey, Trump tweeted his joy at watching her lose, which included an attack on her character.
Glad to see that @RondaRousey lost her championship fight last night. Was soundly beaten – not a nice person!

McGregor laughed off Trump’s one-sided feud with Rousey, who endorsed Bernie Sanders for president earlier in November.
“It’s easy for someone who’s not in there to comment, but it’s different when you’re in there,” he said. “The emotions are high.”
He congratulated Holm on her victory and predicted Rousey’s career would be just fine after the loss.
“Ronda will be back … Defeat is the secret ingredient to success, and true champions can conquer it, overcome it and come back. So I wish her all the best,” he said.
In July, Rousey was asked by CNN how she felt about the idea of Donald Trump, who currently leads the Washington Examiner’s presidential power rankings, winning the presidency.
“I mean, I wouldn’t vote for him,” she said. “I just really wouldn’t trust the guy with running my country, that’s all. I’m not really going to get into specifics of it, but, I mean, I don’t want a reality TV star to be running my country.”
