Lee Greenwood still blesses the U.S.A.

Singer Lee Greenwood of “God Bless the U.S.A.” fame was spotted at Book Fair and Authors’ Night at the National Press Club Tuesday night. Greenwood was on hand to promote his new book, “Does God Still Bless the U.S.A.?” Though the singer campaigned for the Romney/Ryan ticket, he called the election a success for democracy and continues to pray for President Obama.

“The election is over and there was no bloodshed,” he told Yeas & Nays. “We’re a great country, and I look forward to what’s ahead.”
