Hillary Clinton: What does ‘fubar’ mean?

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had to ask her chief of staff back in 2010 what “fubar” means.

“And BTW, what does ‘fubar’ mean?” she asked chief of staff Cheryl Mills. “And what does this whole thing from Gayle mean?”

It’s unclear what message Clinton was referring to, because it’s redacted. But Mills responded:

“Fubar is unprintable on civil email.” She then may have wrote more about the term, which starts with the “f” word, but the next part of the email is redacted as well.

Clinton’s question, “What does fubar mean,” is the same one that one of the characters in the movie Saving Private Ryan asked a few times in that movie.
