Where’s Robert?
People will know his face soon enough, but for now, all doors don’t open for Robert Gibbs. The new White House spokesman arrived at the West Door of the Capitol building for the inauguration on Monday morning, and soon found himself spending several minutes trying to convince security to let him into the VIP seating area.
Gibbs was eventually successful, but had to take a different door. Later, he could be seen standing directly behind Yo-Yo Ma and Itzhak Perlman as they played during the ceremony.
