Speakeasy: Obama wants governors to feel at home, sort of

“I hope today, all of you feel free to make yourselves at home. For those of you with a particular interest in the next election, I don’t mean that literally.”

President Obama to members of the National Governors Association at the White House Monday. He said this then gestured to Republican Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour who was sitting at a table in the front of the room with White House adviser Valerie Jarrett, according to the pool report. The entire room erupted in laughter.
