Rick’s day at the bowling alley

GOP presidential hopeful Rick Santorum dropped by a Wisconsin bowling alley on Wednesday, and from the sound of things, he was in rare form.

According to Reuters reporter Sam Youngman, Santorum was enjoying himself, making jokes about golf (“If my short game was better, I wouldn’t be doing this”) and suggesting that he and Mitt Romney square off in a bowling match for Wisconsin. He told a college student that he’d like his name for the bowling scorecard to be “Rick works” (new campaign slogan?) and when asked about George H.W. Bush endorsing Romney, Santorum shrugged, rolled his eyes, and kept eating.

And in moment of sagacity, Santorum offered some advice to a young bowler. “You’re not gonna use the pink ball,” he said. “We’re not gonna let you do that. Not on camera.”
