Fiorina: Clinton ‘absolutely’ lied about ‘Benghazi, her emails, her server’

Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina said Sunday that Hillary Clinton “absolutely” lied about “Benghazi, her emails [and] her server.”

Fiorina softened her criticism of Clinton by first praising her as a “hard working” and “intelligent woman” who has “has dedicated herself to public service.”

“It is also true however, that she is not trustworthy,” she told NBC’s Chuck Todd. Clinton “lied about some key things, Benghazi, her emails, her server.”

When Todd challenged Fiorina that “lying is a big charge” and asked if Fiorina knows that Clinton is lying, Fiorina replied that there was no question she lied when she appeared the day after the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack and blamed a Youtube video.

“The night of the Benghazi attacks, we now know that the State Department and the White House knew that this was a purposeful, pre-planned terrorist attack,” said the former Hewlett-Packard executive. “Nevertheless, the next morning [Clinton] went into the State Department and she addressed the American people and talked about a video that did not represent the values of this nation. Several days later, she said the same thing over the bodies of the fallen. What she should have said was that this was a purposeful terrorist attack and we will seek retribution.”

“Do you believe she purposely lied?” asked Todd.

“Absolutely, I do,” replied Fiorina.
