Carly Fiorina has no immediate plans to run ads in early voting states despite slipping in recent polls in both Iowa and New Hampshire.
The Republican presidential hopeful told voters during a town hall Friday she will not follow the lead of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who launched a half-million dollar ad buy in New Hampshire in early September and has yet to see a boost in the polls.

“There will come a time for ads, but honestly, other candidates have already spent millions on ads and it’s done nothing for them. So I think the time is not yet,” Fiorina reportedly said during Friday’s event in South Carolina.
Instead, the former business executive plans to deliver another standout performance in the third GOP debate next Wednesday in Boulder, Colo.
“Every time I get out on that debate stage, more people say ‘Oh, I didn’t know she was running for president. I kind of like her,’ ” Fiorina said.
Republican strategist Ford O’Connell told the Washington Examiner recently that a lot is riding on Fiorina’s performance in that third debate Oct. 28.
“The worse she does in debates, the worse off her campaign is going to be because that’s been her top strength thus far,” O’Connell said.
Fiorina dropped to 5 percent support among Republican voters in the latest CNN/ORC poll released Tuesday. She currently holds the No. 5 place in the Washington Examiner‘s presidential power rankings.
