Virgin America will be in town to provide some out-of-flight entertainment Tuesday. At an event to celebrate the launch of a new nonstop service flight from San Francisco to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, the airline company will roll out presidential impersonators Jim Gossett (“Mitt”) and Reggie Brown (“Barack”).
Brown comes with a bit of notoriety, having been pulled offstage during his performance at the Republican Leadership Conference in June of 2011. After a series of jokes aimed at President Obama, Brown began making jokes about the potential GOP presidential nominees. His mic was cut off after starting in on Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.). Some of his Obama jokes were later described as “racially insensitive” by Charlie Davis, the president of the Republican Leadership Conference.
