The folks over at Americans for Tax Reform celebrated boss Grover Norquist‘s birthday Wednesday by bringing him in a festive birthday cake. And not surprisingly the blue and white cake was decorated with a bathtub (and a rubber ducky too).
For those of you who don’t quite get the bathtub reference or why Norquist might be pumped to see it atop his birthday cake, the ATR founder’s most famous quote is probably this: “My goal is to cut government in half in twenty-five years, to get it down to the size where we can drown it in the bathtub.” Norquist turned 55.
