The New York Times discovers ‘Good Stuff’

It was the New York Times’ turn to write the White House pool report Wednesday, when President Obama stopped in at Good Stuff Eatery, and boy was it obvious. First of all, the reporter had to look up information on Washingtonian Magazine’s website about who the owner was (Spike Mendelsohn) and why he’s D.C. famous (he was on two seasons of “Top Chef”). “Good Stuff is known for his fries, according to Hill staffers who frequent the place,” the reporter wrote, even though Good Stuff isn’t a person and the burgers, especially the Obama one, get more ink than the fries.
