Mitt Romney continued to press Donald Trump to release his previous tax returns, taunting the Republican front-runner on Twitter Thursday.
Romney tweeted, “Methinks the Donald doth protest too much. Show voters your back taxes, @realDonaldTrump. #WhatIsHeHiding.”

Romney, though he has not endorsed a particular GOP candidate, has ratcheted up his criticisms of the Trump in recent days, particularly as it relates to his taxes.
Trump warmly endorsed Romney in 2012 for president, but their relationship has since soured.
Trump has repeatedly faulted Romney for “choking” down the stretch in the 2012 presidential race, giving the election to President Obama.
Romney himself was pressed to release his taxes in 2012, and eventually relented. Critics then said he did not pay enough taxes for someone so wealthy.
