Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump used a rally in Las Vegas Thursday to make a plug for his upcoming book, “Crippled America.”
The book, scheduled for release Oct. 27, is a far cry from Trump’s 1987 manual, The Art of the Deal, for individuals looking to fine-tune their negotiating tactics.
“One’s The Art of the Deal — everything’s rosy, let’s go make money. But now I’m doing one called ‘Crippled America,’ as much as I hate to call it that,” Trump said.
According to the book’s publisher, Simon & Schuster, the billionaire’s latest book “will outline how a crippled America could be restored to greatness” and features Trump’s ideas on several issues including the economy, healthcare, immigration reform and corporate salaries.
“I have the nastiest looking picture [for the cover],” the real estate mogul said to laughter. “Because honestly, for a period of time, that’s what we got to do. We’ve got to put our head down and straighten out this mess.”
Trump holds the No. 1 spot in the Washington Examiner‘s presidential power rankings. His trip to Nevada comes less than one week ahead of the first Democratic primary debate next Tuesday in Las Vegas.
