It’s not just George Clooney who’s bringing in the Benjamins for President Obama this week. POTUS is taking Air Force One to the West Coast on Thursday, swinging through Seattle for brunch and lunch fundraisers, with the latter featuring musician Dave Matthews. Matthews has been tasked to warm up the crowd at Seattle’s Paramount Theater, a ticket that costs $1,000 for general admission and $5,000 for an individual photo reception, according to the Sunlight Foundation’s Party Time blog.
That evening the president will be appearing in Los Angeles with Clooney and company at the movie star’s Studio City home. That event and the contest surrounding it is expected to bring in up to $12 million for the president, which, according to the Hollywood Reporter, means it will be the biggest presidential fundraiser in U.S. history.
