– House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi‘s reasoning, according to Politico, as to why she can’t debate GOP presidential candidate and Texas Gov. Rick Perry in Washington Monday. The Hill newspaper reported earlier this week that Perry had sent a letter to Pelosi’s office requesting that they debate whether Congress should work part-time. Pelosi confirmed that her office had received such a letter, but clearly declined the invite.
