By The Numbers: The two percent go for ‘Mittens’ Romney

2 : Percentage of American adults who said they believed that Mitt Romney‘s real name was “Mittens,” according to a new Vanity Fair/60 Minutes poll. And it’s not exactly a Democratic prank. When broken down by party affiliation, three percent of Democrats versus two percent of Republicans gave the “Mittens” answer, with a whopping 44 percent of survey respondents saying they didn’t know what Romney’s first name was. The correct answer is Willard, which only six percent got right. Perhaps producing a birth certificate would solve that problem?
