Clinton ace deals her victory in one Nevada precinct

Bernie Sanders had a poor draw in one precinct during Nevada’s Saturday caucus.

According to a tweet by Wall Streat Journal reporter Reid Epstein, the caucus vote was tied in Precinct 10, which for Silver State Democrats is decided by drawing from a deck of cards. The candidate with the highest number wins. If the numbers come out the same, the tie is decided by the suit of the cards.

Turns out, the draw wasn’t even close.

“Pahrump precinct chair Peggy Rhoads with the cards drawn in tied Precinct 10. Hillary’s ace beat Bernie’s six,” Epstein tweeted along with a picture of Rhoads holding the cards that decided that fate of the precinct’s delegates. As a result Clinton gets three delegates, while Sanders walks away with two.

Clinton was declared the victor of the Nevada caucus not long after.

Clinton also had really good luck during Iowa’s caucus on Feb. 1, winning at least six coin flip tie-breakers.
