As if the people that went to Smith Point weren’t already high enough on themselves, Playboy has only added fuel to their “turbo” attitudes — its online city guide lists the uber-preppy Georgetown bar as the best “D.C. Hookup Spot.”
A place to find “girls in J. Crew dresses dancing on the tables” is how the magazine describes the post-college favorite on Wisconsin Avenue (or, as its loyalists might claim, O Street, thanks to its side entrance). Once frequented by the Bush twins, the “list only” establishment has become so in name only, letting all in for a mere $5.
Nevertheless, it may be a good spot for all you men out there to meet ladies like Michelle Malkin or Elizabeth Hasselbeck, who made the magazine’s controversial “Top 10 Conservative Women We’d Like to [Hate].”
Oh and in case that crowd is a bit too young for you, right around the corner you can find Playboy’s D.C.’s best “Cougar Bar,” Cafe Milano.
