Tom DeLay was spotted outside Old Ebbitt Grill near the White House Wednesday afternoon in a casual summer suit.
The Republican former House majority leader, in his recreational vehicle, stopped in town to pack up his condo and meet with some clients on his way down from Boston back to his home in Texas. (DeLay also drove his RV to Los Angeles for “Dancing With the Stars,” passing up a network offer of an airline ticket.)
DeLay, once a regular at the grill, ordered a crab cake sandwich that restaurant manager Chris Godown said “he gets almost every time he comes in.”
