Some clever West Coast college students have come up with a drinking game fit for Washington: The “Morning Joe Drinking Game,” based on the popular MSNBC morning show hosted by Joe Scarborough with Mika Brzezinski and Willie Geist.
Students Julian Jack Langness and Andrew Simpson created the game while attending Washington University and have been toasting to “Joe” ever since.
“At 3 a.m., after a long night of drinking there is nothing better than to sit down on the couch and watch Joe, Willie and the beautiful Mika do their thing,” wrote Langness on the Facebook page he created to advertise the game.
It must have worked: Scarborough caught wind of it Tuesday and Tweeted kudos to the kids.
“Love you guys!” he wrote, “Have you seen this Facebook group?” he added, sending his Twitter followers flocking to the page.
Here are some of the rules:
Take one drink every time Joe talks about bloggers in their basements eating Cheetos.
Take three drinks every time Mika is referred to as “Mommy.”
Take five drinks every time Joe mentions he was a congressman.
Take five drinks every time Pat [Buchanan] mentions an election that took place before 1964.
Sounds like our liquor stores better be prepared for some traffic.
