A D.C. favorite will be playing a concert for the low, low price … of free.
The Thievery Corporation will perform June 23 in the W Hotel’s Great Room ballroom as part of the hotel’s W Happening music series, an event also sponsored by Brightest Young Things. Thievery members Lou Lou and Rob Myers will open the performance with a live acoustic set, with Thievery Corporation founders Eric Hilton and Rob Garza performing a live DJ set starting at 10:30 p.m. Doors will open at 9 p.m. Tickets will be available starting at noon on Thursday, June 9 and can be reserved online at eventfarm.com/wdcthievery.
Once the free tickets are gone, the W Hotel will be giving away a pair of tickets every day for 10 days to a W Washington, D.C. Facebook fan, with one fan also winning an overnight stay at the hotel, a bottle of champagne and breakfast in bed.
