Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush defended a photo of himself with a gun that went viral earlier this week during a CNN town hall Thursday. Bush also discussed the role his family is playing in his campaign and emphasized his endorsement from Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., when asked about Gov. Nikki Haley’s recent endorsement of Sen. Marco Rubio R-Fla.
Bush also shared that he learned more about his father, former President George H.W. Bush, through reading John Meecham’s biography.
“I learned of how tough it was to lose in 1992. He didn’t share that. He’s part of the generation that you don’t show your emotions. You grind through, you stiff upper lip or whatever it is. You don’t — we’re now — people in my generation are all like — they’re kind of more like Bill Clinton,” said Bush.
