Ann Romney sure seems to like red, white and blue food.
The wife of GOP off-and-on-again presidential front-runner Mitt Romney recently took to social networking site Pinterest to let the American public in on some of her interests and inspirations — and we see that patriotic snacks make up a good portion of her pins. (One board is, in fact, devoted to “Patriotic” pins and includes “Independence Punch,” red, white and blue-striped strawberries, and tri-colored Chex mix.) More subtle acts of patriotism can be seen on her recipe board, which features granola cups topped with flag-colored fruits.
The message appears to be resonating with the public. Romney snapped up nearly 2,000 followers after her husband tweeted a link to her profile.
