It was Sunday Funday for both Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., and Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.
A Yeas & Nays spy caught Stabenow shopping at Eastern Market and took a picture of her perusing the jewelry selection.
Scalia, on the other hand, knocked back a few. He and Peruvian Ambassador Luis Valdivieso stopped by Lincoln on Sunday night for rounds of Peru’s national cocktail, the Pisco Sour, made from Macchu Pisco, fresh lime, sugar, and egg white. (Fun Fact: the Peruvians are so obsessed with the beverage that there’s actually a “Pisco Sour Day” for it every February).
Scalia and Valdivieso also ordered a dozen oysters, tomato risotto, Pennsylvania duck sausage rolls, strip steak and creamed spinach.
