Gary Busey endorses Donald Trump for president

Of all the endorsements Donald Trump has received for president so far, this one might be the most predictable.

Actor Gary Busey told Fox411 Monday that his former “Celebrity Apprentice” co-star has his vote in 2016.

“I know him personally,” Busey said. “I know him professionally. He’s a great guy. He’s sharp. He’s fast. He can change the country after the last eight years.”

The “Lethal Weapon” and “Point Break” actor said he enjoyed “every day” he worked with The Donald on two seasons of “The Celebrity Apprentice.” He also mentioned his amusement at a “Tonight Show” sketch that involved Jimmy Fallon playing Trump while interviewing the real billionaire in a mirror.

“I didn’t expect it but Jimmy is a dear friend and he said, ‘What do you think about Vice President Gary Busey?’ And Donald said, ‘No, I think he would be a Supreme Court Justice,'” Busey smiled.

When asked whether he thought he could be on the Supreme Court, Busey replied: “Hey, man, I think everything’s happening.”

Busey is not the first celebrity to give Trump his seal of approval. Former NBA star Dennis Rodman and rocker Ted Nugent have both publicly joined team Trump 2016.

“His campaign is just what the working hard, playing hard American families have been waiting for,” Nugent told WABC New York. “If he stays on course, he’s gonna be the next president of the United States.”

Busey is currently competing on season 21 of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” He described his first performance, a cha-cha with dancing professional Anna Trebunskaya to David Bowie and Mick Jagger’s “Dancing in the Street,” as “a cosmos of riddles.”
