By The Numbers: Obama’s speech

56.5: Number of viewers who tuned in to watch President Obama tell the world Osama bin Laden was dead. Nielsen reported that it was a larger number than that of Obama’s last primetime speech on Libya, and the Wall Street Journal said that it was his largest audience since election day in 2008. Sunday’s speech was broadcast on network news and broadcast channels.
