Donald Trump claims he is more intelligent than any of his opponents in the 2016 race for the White House.
“I guarantee I have a better vocabulary than all of them, certainly most of them,” the Republican presidential front-runner told a just over 1,000 supporters Thursday at a campaign rally in Burlington, Vt.
“I know I have a better IQ than all of them,” he added, citing his Ivy League degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business as evidence.
Trump’s comments came as he was discussing former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who recently called the billionaire-turned-Republican hopeful “a gifted politician.”
“He said I’m a gifted politician. I said maybe that’s not good. I wish he just said gifted [and] left the politician out,” Trump told the crowd.
He continued “I would never say that about my opponent. I would say my opponent has nothing going, my opponent is horrible, terrible, my opponent is a loser.”
Trump is second in the Washington Examiner’s presidential power rankings.
