Trump asks supporters if he should debate with Megyn Kelly

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said in a video released Tuesday that “everybody knows” Fox News’ Megyn Kelly is biased against him, and is openly asking if he should participate in the next GOP debate.

“Megyn Kelly is really biased against me,” Trump said in a video posted Tuesday on the social network Instagram. “She knows that. I know that. Everybody knows that. Do you really think she can be fair at a debate?”

The video was shared with Trump’s 900,000 followers with the caption, “Should I do the GOP debate?”

Trump has been feuding with Kelly ever since the first GOP debate last summer when she confronted him with a series of past statements he has made disparaging some women.

In an interview that aired Monday on CNN, Trump suggested that he is responsible for Kelly’s success, though she was popular on Fox well before their feud.

Fox’s public relations department released a rare statement to reporters in response. “Sooner or later Donald Trump, even if he’s president, is going to have to learn that he doesn’t get to pick the journalists,” it said. “We’re very surprised he’s willing to show that much fear about being questioned by Megyn Kelly.”

Kelly is set to co-moderate the next debate on Fox on Thursday.
