Marco Rubio’s presidential campaign on Thursday night was offering to sell people broken Donald Trump watches after Rubio made a crack that Trump would only be good at selling watches in New York City if he never inherited his father’s money.
“If he hadn’t inherited $200 million, do you know where Donald Trump would be right now? Selling watches in Manhattan,” Rubio said.
The Rubio campaign quickly put up a page on their website with the opportunity to buy a $10 “Trump watch,” mocking the businessman. No actual watch would be sent to the buyer, but it would amount to a $10 donation to the campaign.
