Morgan Freeman was spotted walking up 15th Street toward the Loews Madison Hotel on Wednesday afternoon. The Academy Award-winning actor is part of a lineup of celebrities who will be honoring the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s presidency in January.
Also, Dominic Chianese, the actor who played Uncle Junior in the hit show “The Sopranos,” lunched at Il Canale in Georgetown on Tuesday afternoon. A Yeas & Nays source tells us he enjoyed Italian appetizers, pizza Margherita, red wine and dessert.
Several Washington Redskins players — including wide receiver Santana Moss, offensive tackle Stephon Heyer, and fullback Mike Sellers — celebrated their overtime victory against the Green Bay Packers with a hearty meal at Morton’s in Reston on Monday night. They sat in the Boardroom and watched the Jets-Vikings game on the big screen and ate filet sandwiches and chicken goujonettes.
Meanwhile Tuesday night, some members of the New York Islanders were spotted drinking whiskey, wine and Bud Light at Capital Grille downtown. The Islanders were in town for Wednesday night’s game against the Capitals.
