Even with his over-the-top love of celebrity and thirst for publicity, billionaire Donald Trump has denied that his recent talk about a 2012 presidential run is just a marketing stunt for the Celebrity Apprentice, his popular NBC reality show.
He said Tuesday that the “biggest negative” is that most people don’t think he’s serious about making a run for the job, but he told NY1 News that he’ll decide whether or not he’s running by June.
In the meantime, he’s had representatives in Iowa meeting with key Republicans about the prospect, and he’s said that he’dbe willing to spend $100 million on his campaign if he decides to run.
