Baltimore Vietnam veteran stands in front of protesters: ‘I love my country’

Robert Valentine, a veteran of the Vietnam War, told rioters in Baltimore “they need to have their butts at home.”

“I love my country. I love my Charm City,” he said, placing himself between protesters and police. After the interview, CNN’s Anderson Cooper called him a hero on air.
