Trump being targeted by professional ‘wise guys’

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Saturday that he would be within his rights to fight back against what he called professional protestors who caused him to cancel Friday night rally in Chicago.

“They have organized professionally staged wise guys,” Trump said during a rally in Dayton Ohio. “We’ve got to fight back.”

Moments earlier, Trump responded to protesters with a blunt instruction: “If there is a group out there just throw them the hell out,” he said to loud applause.

“We cannot let our First Amendment rights be taken away from us,” Trump said.

Trump postponed a rally last night in Chicago after protesters had threatened to shut it down. Trump said he didn’t want to risk people being hurt, “or worse,” so he cancelled the event.

“We dealt with law enforcement at every levels,” Trump said. “It was determined if we go in it would cause bad, bad vibes.” He said his supporters caused no problems.

The Chicago Police said Friday night that the department did not advise Trump to cancel his event.
