Obama celebrates birthday (several times) with stars

Sure, the first family was out of town for President Obama’s actual birthday on Wednesday, but he seems to have made up for it since.

First, there was the birthday dinner Wednesday night in Chicago with Oprah Winfrey. Then, this weekend, the president had an athletics-filled celebration that would make any sports fan green with envy. Saturday, he golfed with an entourage of friends. Sunday, he played basketball in front of wounded warriors at Fort McNair, but with a who’s who of the NBA, including LeBron James, Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant (though Bryant didn’t play). To finish off the birthday celebrations, with the family back in Washington, the president hosted a barbecue at the White House with a menu featuring Gulf shrimp.
