Country crooner Josh Turner joined country quartet Little Big Town on Saturday night at the Concert for Epilepsy at Gaylord National Harbor. Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman made the concert feel intimate while belting out smash hits “Bring It On Home” and “Boondocks.” Just five years ago, Arlington political consultant Chad Barth wanted to raise money for epilepsy, which his sister has, by having a karaoke fundraiser. Now he’s selling out thousand-person events.
Barth said country music was a “natural fit” for this concert.

“We have a better connection with an audience, as well as message in the country fan base,” he said.
This year’s concert also reached out to troops, inviting area USO members to the concert.
