Country star Toby Keith appeared on HLN’s Joy Behar show Thursday, where he talked a little politics — calling President Obama “a young rock star” who’s been “beat down” by the presidency, saying “it’s a tough-ass job.” Keith himself is a registered independent, and said he’s been thrilled at the president’s foreign policy achievements, but he’s still worried about the economy. “I know our military is going to be good. I see them every day. I worry most about the economy,” he said, responding to Behar’s note that Obama is seeking reelection with, “Well, power to him. I’d have to take a pay cut.”
