Fox News Host Bill O’Reilly gave presidential candidate Donald Trump advice during his show Monday on how he can improve his reputation: stop tweeting.
O’Reilly said on Sunday he saw Trump had retweeted a chart that was incorrect.
“You tweeted out that whites killed by blacks at a rate of 81 percent and that’s totally wrong. Whites killed by blacks is 15 percent,” O’Reilly said.

Trump defended the move and said he had shared a tweet originally posted by someone in the radio industry.
But O’Reilly pushed his point.
“Don’t put your name on stuff like this ’cause it makes the other side, it gives them stuff to tell the ill-informed voter that you’re a racist. You’re just handing them the platter,” advised O’Reilly. “You shouldn’t be tweeting. Give it up for Lent. Lent is coming soon.”
Still, Trump disagreed, “I like it because I can get also my point of view out there.”
Trump is currently ranked fourth in the Washington Examiner’s power rankings.
