Sen.-elect Brown doesn’t regret spread

He seemed a tad embarrassed when Barbara Walters pulled a copy of Cosmo from behind her back and gawked at a 22-year-old, nude Scott Brown, but the newly elected senator said he didn’t regret doing the spread.

“And do I regret doing that?” Brown asked. “No, ’cause if I hadn’t done that, I never would have been sitting here with you. It’s all connected,” Brown told Walters in an interview that aired on “This Week.”

Though he doesn’t mind that the photos are out there, he revealed that he might not want his college-age daughters to follow in his footsteps.

“Well, I would leave it up to their discretion. I don’t think that’s in the, in the cards, though,” the Massachusetts Republican stammered.

He responded to Walters’ questions in a light-hearted manner, even when she asked if being referred to as the “nude magazine guy” might make him look like a joke.

“No — I was 22 years old,” he said. “My grandmother saw it, she laughed.”
