Model Chrissy Teigen has been expressing her distaste for Donald Trump on Twitter since Sunday, and her crusade against the GOP presidential front-runner has continued into Wednesday.
Teigen fired the first shot Sunday, criticizing Trump for publicizing his meeting with African-American pastors, an event Trump said was closed to the press.
Trump, who currently sits atop the Washington Examiner‘s presidential power rankings, didn’t directly respond to Teigen, but he did retweet someone who called her a “trashy gutter mouth woman” and said she cannot “hold a candle” to Trump’s wife Melania, much to Teigen’s amusement.

Teigen responded with two tweets showing solidarity with Melania and reminding her followers that they’re not that different.
ok trumpers let’s get one thing straight, we both married well and pose half naked, I’m not alone in this

lol poor melania doesn’t need to be dragged into this. She goes through enough already.

She then retweeted someone who believes that no one will remember her or her husband, singer John Legend, in 100 years, but the Trumps will continue to be national icons.

On Tuesday, the “Lip Sync Battle” commentator sounded flabbergasted while retweeting someone who called her a “very obvious racist” and went after her looks.
I…me…*I*…am the obvious racist??? https://t.co/roTTyWyrSS

She went on to express her gratitude for her Twitter followers that have not been attacking her looks or political views in the wake of her Twitter comments.
You normal, sane, funny people make me so so happy. I’m so grateful for you. You are so important. I really love you.

Finally, on Wednesday, Teigen retweeted a follower who had posted an article about why the media is rising up against Trump.
Media outlets are massing against Trump because he gives voice to knuckle draggers to whom facts don’t matter https://t.co/0oWbFxHnro

Trump has not taken the bait besides his initial response. This is a far cry from the war of words he engaged in with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly after she called out his past sexist remarks during the first GOP presidential debate in August.
