Former two-time presidential candidate Ron Paul isn’t happy with any of the remaining White House contenders.
Paul, who ran in 2008 and 2012, told CNN on Thursday he would not vote for either party’s front-runners, Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton.
“What I’d like to have on all of the ballots is ‘none of the above,'” Paul told host Ashleigh Banfield. “I’m not going to vote for those two for sure. They’re too close together.”
The former Texas congressman warned voters against supporting the nominees come November.
“If you can’t stand any of them, and you happen to be a dedicated progressive, you ought to make your vote count and vote for the Green Party, and if you happen to be a libertarian then vote for the Libertarian Party,” Paul said. He did not endorse a Green or Libertarian Party candidate.
