ReelzChannel, the cable channel that bought and aired the controversial “Kennedys” mini-series, has another Kennedy project in the works. On Monday, the channel announced that principal photography had started in Dallas on “JFK: The Smoking Gun,” a documentary based on the work of police detective Colin McLaren. The completed documentary is slated to air in November to mark the 50th anniversary of President Kennedy’s assassination.
