Looks like the tennis courts will be only the place you are going to be able to watch Washington Kastles star Serena Williams in action, at least for the time being.
The tennis twin was hoping to land a reality show on Lifetime about her second love, nail care, but it appears that the cable network took a pass on the mani-pedi program pitch, despite having a pilot with Oprah Winfrey getting her tootsies taken care of by Williams.
According to New York Daily News, the folks over at Lifetime “felt the audience wouldn’t think Serena was being authentic.” Winfrey’s OWN channel isn’t nailing a deal down with the tennis pro either.
