Sightings: Russert sports intense Buffalo Bills outfit

If you happened to stumble upon a young man wearing head to toe Buffalo Bills, holding a Buffalo Bills flag, outside the White House Sunday that was none other than NBC News’ Capitol Hill Correspondent Luke Russert. Russert, sporting a cap, a football jersey, some shorts and bright red socks tweeted a photo of himself saying he was celebrating the Bills win over the New England Patriots with President Obama. “Not pictured, President Obama,” he joked.

He continued the smack talk on Monday. “We hadn’t beaten the Patriots in 2,490 days or since I was a senior in high school,” the sports buff boasted over email. “Now even the big time NFL ‘analysts’ who wrote us off in August know we’re for real.” He called the big win a “seminal moment” for the team. “No matter what, I always BILLieve,” Russert told Yeas & Nays.
