Carlos Allen, known primarily for crashing the White House the same night as the Salahis, has officially started campaigning for mayor and, wouldn’t you know, his campaign slogan involves crashing.
He wants to … wait for it … “crash the nonsense out of D.C. politics.”
He was doing his best Tuesday to crash Mayor Fenty’s scene, showing up at an unveiling ceremony at the Washington Hilton and powwowing with power players like Magic Johnson, a partial owner of the Hilton, who was guiding reporters through its newly renovated rooms.
“Well you know, the focus is now to crash the system and transform the system,” he told Yeas & Nays after chatting with Johnson, and not chatting with Fenty.
So did he crash the event Tuesday, or was Allen actually invited?
“Oh, you know, it was an invite to everybody so, again, my whole focus now is to crash the nonsense out of D.C. politics,” he said.
