Nation, get ready. First lady Michelle Obama will be dominating the small screen over the next few weeks, first at Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards this weekend. FLOTUS will present the Big Help Award to singer Taylor Swift, who aided recent tornado and flood victims.
Obama makes a second TV appearance on “The Biggest Loser” in early April. The show filmed the first lady doing side planks with the contestants in the East Room back in February. Executive producer Todd Lubin demurred on how much furniture they had to move for the workout, but explained in an email to Yeas & Nays that “The Biggest Loser” approached the White House to partner again after filming an episode there several seasons ago. “We share a common goal with the first lady to get people more active and healthy, so both parties felt it was a natural fit to join forces again,” he said.
